Hey Patrick,
I was up late again last night and boredom set in so I grabbed the banjo and my new, but old, Folksinger’s Wordbook and decided to sit down in front of the camera again (a Fuji finepix, just like yours).what resulted was my first ever banjo song lesson!
Since it was late I kind of ramble, mumble, and mix up my words. I hope it helps out somebody, somewhere.
I hope your ears are feeling better today.
best wishes,

Gee, But I Want To Go Home G chord (0000) D7 chord (0210) C chord (2012) The (G) coffee that they give us, They (D7) say is mighty fine, It's good for cuts and bruises And (G) tastes like Iodine. Chorus: (C) I don't want no more of (G) army life, Gee, but I (D7) want to go, (G) Gee but I (D7)want to go (G) home. The biscuits that they give us, They say are mighty fine, One fell off a table And killed a pal of mine. The clothes that they give us, They say are mighty fine, Me and my buddy, Can both fit into mine. They treat us all like monkeys And make us stand in line, They give you fifty bucks a week And take back forty-nine. The girls at the service club They say are mighty fine, Most are over eighty And the rest are under nine.

Well done Tyler this is great work, hope there will be more to come! – one small thing is that there is something obscuring your picking hand! – really like your modest style of teaching – best wishes – Andy

Yeah, sorry about that Andy, that was one of the creases in the book pushing some pages up. I think I might take it to a copy shop and have them chop off the binding and 3-hole punch it so it will lay flat. It usually isn’t in the way on my computer desk, but I absconded into one of the corners of the house away from sleeping people and just set it on a cup on the dining room table.
I’m glad you guys like it. I have a pretty good idea of which one I want to do next.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. Great song, too! Can’t wait for the next one.

It went well. Do more.
I like your stream of consciousness approach. It’s nice to know others out there blabber away while picking like I do.
